Dictionary defines.
Dictionify explains.

A dictionary gives you ten meanings and leaves you guessing. Dictionify reads your sentence and explains the one meaning it has right there, in plain words and your language. Just highlight any word, phrase or paragraph on any website.

Add to Chrome, it’s free works on every website you read

Demo: clicking “unwind” on a web page opens a card explaining it; clicking “tense” in that card opens the next card, and “anxious” opens a third.

The big difference

Not ten definitions. The one that fits.

A dictionary lists every meaning of a word and leaves you to guess which one your sentence uses. Dictionify reads the sentence around the word and explains the meaning it has right there.
